WINTER CHANDELIER Sandra Rae Hymel
Crystalled trees shivering in the silvered sky Adorned with glassed ornaments against foil Winter at it's best, shimmering in the light And I -- Breathless at the beauty in the sight.
SOLAS! ... or ... O LIGHT! [Solas means "light" in Irish Gaelic ... written in honor of the Summer Solstice] Sandra Rae Hymel
Hail Thee, O Solas! Of candle, night light, star light - snow. Sun-light, moon-light, fire-light - glow!
Hail Thee, O Solas! Of day, lightning followed by thunder and following bugs, bulbs, lamps -- reflecting. ... Long days, short nights - light house --- Directing.
Hail Thee, O Solas! Light of Lights ... Eternal Being Inward - Outward - Forever Seeing! Give us Thy sight, that we too might see The Light that Thou would have us Be!
YOU ARE GOD'S DANCE
