"I EMBRACE THIS BRAND NEW DAY!"
There are times when I forget that each
moment is a new one. I have never been here before now, never
breathed this breath or thought this thought. Even when I read
familiar material, go through my daily routines, it is a new me
who is reading it and a new me who is doing it. I begin in this
moment to hold this ONE THOUGHT:
"I EMBRACE THIS BRAND NEW DAY!"
Even in belaboring thought of past happy
moments, I miss out on the happiness in this now moment. Someone
has said that "Nostalgia is like a grammar lesson. You find
the present tense and the past perfect." What wisdom in this
thought from my friend Anon-Ymous! I open my mind, heart and hands
as I affirm:
"I EMBRACE THIS BRAND NEW DAY!
THIS ONE THOUGHT CAN CHANGE YOUR LIFE!"
December 5th
"I LET PEACE BE PEACE IN ME!"
"Let
there be Peace on earth, and let it begin with me." This song
closes every Unity Sunday Service throughout the world and it
always touches many hearts at the deepest level. I have often
wondered as I pray for, long for, Peace on earth, what have I done
to be Peace where I am? I then hold this ONE THOUGHT:
"I LET PEACE BE PEACE IN ME!"
An ancient Oriental Sage, Lin Yutang, once
said: "Peace of mind is that mental condition in which you
have accepted the worst." Ah, this is the key to opening the
mental treasure chest of Peace, acceptance of the worst,
acceptance of the worst that can possibly happen in any situation,
then letting it go to God’s care. So today I affirm deep within
my heart:
"I LET PEACE BE PEACE IN ME!"
THIS ONE THOUGHT CAN CHANGE YOUR LIFE!
